The World of Warcraft Trading Card Game allows you and your friends to dive into the fantasy of World of Warcraft wherever you go, and it's also a very engaging and challenging game in its own right.

How do I destroy an item?

Click on any item in your inventory, drag it to your main screen, and drop it. At this point you will be given a option to destroy your item. Once an item has been destroyed it can not be retrieved.

Do items have weight? Can I be encumbered?

Items do not have weight. You can carry as many items as you have room for without any negative effect on your character.

How does money work?

Money comes in three denominations: copper, silver, and gold. One silver is equal to 100 copper, and one gold is equal to 100 silver.

  • A character will carry all of his money with him at all times.
  • Money has no weight.
  • Money will convert to the next highest denomination automatically. 100 copper will automatically become 1 silver.
How do I trade money?

To trade money with another player, first open a trade window with the character. Then open your primary bag slot and Left-Click on either the Gold, Silver, or Copper denomination at the bottom of the bag window. Another window will appear, allowing you to set the amount of money you wish to trade. Once you have set the amount of money, drag the icon over to the area of the trade window that displays your money and Left-Click again to add it to the trade window. An easier method is to just type the amount of money you wish to trade into the currency slots at the top of the trade window. Once you are ready to trade, press the Trade button in the trade window to accept the transaction.

How often can I use a Hearthstone?

Because Hearthstones let players quickly return to town, players can easily log off from within an Inn when they're done playing for the night (or day). If they so choose, players can also use Hearthstones just to return to town to sell items, trade, or train. However, Hearthstones can only be used once per hour.

What can I do with an item I do not need anymore?

Once you're done using an item, likely because you have found a better one, it's time to get rid of it. You have several options:

Hand-me-downs to a friend or guild mate: Lower level or poorly equipped players appreciate gifts. This can improve your standing with them, which might benefit you later on. If the item is bound to your character, your only choice is to sell the item to a vendor.

Auction: Sell the item in an auction. "One person's trash is another person's treasure." Your old items might fetch a hefty sum. Be sure that the item isn't soulbound to your character before trying to sell it.

Merchants: Anything you cannot give away or sell to other players should be sold to the merchants.

Trash: Anything you cannot give away or sell to anyone can be thrown out. Just drag the item out of your bag and drop it.
